The occaisonal use of bright colors such as orange, blue, yellow, and pink within this image add "life" and drama to the photograph. These colors are "calmed down" or contrasted by the use of darker colors such as white, black, gray, and brown. The shoes that are given brighter colorings lead the viewer's eye through a "pathway" of colored shoes and almost present the image as an Andy Warhol painting with the use of color and repetition.
